Topic:  Exploring Media Apps and Online Programs for Pain Management

On the December 7 call, Rachel Trobman, CEO & Cofounder of www.ouchie.com, will be presenting. OUCHIE is a mobile solution for pain management. Manage your pain, connect with providers and find accomplishments in the everyday. Rachel’s presentation will be around 15 minutes with Q&As.

Rachel Trobman is the founder and CEO of Ouchie, a mobile platform for pain management. Rachel is also a chronic pain patient, suffering from mixed connective tissue disease, and has been the caretaker for relatives with other pain conditions. She will speak about the role pain tracking, community and cognitive behavioral therapy have had on her healing and introduce some tools that can be used alongside treatment.

ALSO— *After talking about OUCHIE, we can discuss different media apps, and programs to help deal with pain.  So, think of anything on your phone, tablet or computer that you use and helps you manage your pain.  It could be a pain program or an indirect way you find to relax, pace or monitor your pain. For example using a meditation app or a way to track your good habits.

Join us on Thursday!  Please register for the call in advance.

NOTE: The topic would be the same on 12/14, but Rachel can’t present that day.

PainConnection Live is scheduled for the first and second Thursdays of the month.  Register with the link at the bottom of this page!  It’s free.

In the calls, the leader often refers to a book written about pain management.  This book, Making the Invisible Visible, has valuable information for people with chronic pain, their families and providers.  It is an excellent resource for how to navigate the challenges of chronic pain.
